Ahrens, Heinrich (1808-1874),
Habilitation in 1830 at the university of Göttingen. After the failed uprising in Göttingen in 1831 Ahrens first taught in Paris and from 1834 was professor of philosophy in Brussels. 1848 he was a deputy in the Frankfurt national assembly. From 1850 professor in Graz, from 1859 in Leipzig.
