Berstett, Wilhelm Ludwig Freiherr von
(1769-1837)
Initially on active service for Austria until 1804; 1809 became Kammerherr to Grand Duchess Stephanie of Baden, and 1816 Baden's envoy to the Bundestag; 1817 minister for foreign affairs; took part in the Carlsbad Congress and the Vienna Conferences of 1820.
